Blue Orbit Asset Management appoints Lewis Bearman Chief Operating Officer

Blue Orbit Asset Management today announced the appointment of Mr. Lewis Bearman to the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), which will further support the firm’s growing investment management business. Blue Orbit Asset Management Chief Executive, Adam Randall, said the establishment of the standalone Chief Operating Officer role will add a significant level of operational expertise and support to the business.

“His knowledge and depth of experience embracing all aspects of operations including developing institutional grade operating models, risk management and governance will be a significant asset to our business,” Mr Randall said.
Mr. Bearman joins Blue Orbit Asset Management from boutique incubator Prodigy Investment Partners, where he held the position of COO. He has also held senior positions at Perennial Investment Partners as COO and Chief Executive Officer, as well as at INVESCO Australia as Head of Operations. Mr.Bearman will commence in the role on 4th August. Mr. Bearman is Blue Orbit’s third hire in 12 months, along with Cindy Chiang (Operations Manager) and Matthew Oldham (Assistant Portfolio Manager).
